The Wizard’s Wayward Wand by W.W. Rowe is a very funny story about a magical wand that escapes the castle and decides to go on an exiting adventure. The wand travels through the magical, enchanted forest to be found by children who do not know he is capable of granting their secret wishes. What fun it is to help make the school disappear, bring down the mean bully, and transform a struggling student into a top student!! You never know what is going to happen in this delightful children’s tale. Where will this wand end up? Read to find out!!

Summary

On Mirth, a planet like Earth,a dog's broken leg miraculously heals. Then a school mysteriously disappears. Why? A Little Golump Wizard's wand has alowed a young boy to find it. From his pocket, the wand grants his wishes, though he doesn't suspect this. Later, the wand lets other kids find it; their unwitting wishes increase the madness, humor, and confusion. Returning to the Wizard, the wand thwarts a plot to kill the Goumph Queen.
