The author did an outstanding job of communicating the horrors of this national problem, and at the same time offering that ray of hope for recovery.

It helps them to understand the challenges they will face, and provides encouragement in presenting a difficult story with a successful outcome. There are no clearly prescribed solutions, but youre not alone. Others have traveled the path and are there to help. The book gives courage and hope to those who are facing this tragic situation.
