Author Biography
Leslie Billig began her puzzle career at Dell Magazines in 1982 and went on to create, edit, proofread, and fact-check puzzles for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Sun, New York Newsday, Games magazine, People, Modern Maturity, and Reader's Digest. She also wrote and researched questions for the TV quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Billig is the author of Sit & Solve Cryptograms (Sterling) and coeditor of Puzzler's Sunday Crosswords (Dell). She was editor of The Uptown Puzzle Club from 2001 until 2014, when she became editor of The Crosswords Club.
