Just a phenomenal, epic book. Beautifully written, fascinating, with characters so real you feel that they MUST have lived--they live on with you after you have finished reading. Yes, I was disgruntled by some aspects of the plot (no spoilers here!) but it was a fine reading experience and I recommend it highly to anyone who loves a good story.
