Daughters of Boston series- book 2- A Passion Redeemed
I truly enjoyed this book! I LOVED watching Charity transform from the villain in A Passion Most Pure into the heroine in this book. This book was well- written and flowed beautifully. Great job, Julie!!

Love Charity's Story!  January 26, 2011

As with all of the books in the Daughters of Boston series, I give this book 5 stars! Julie Lessman's writing is first-rate and on the mark! If you're looking for a story that marries romance, passion, and a love for Christ, then look no further. You will find this and so much more in all of Julie Lessman's books.

It's apparent that Julie has a huge heart for God, and I am thankful that she uses her writing talent to bring glory to Him. It is such a blessing to have the opportunity to read Christian fiction that has some "sizzle" to it, knowing that it won't cross the line into anything inappropriate.

Romantic passion and God's Word are perfectly balanced to me in Julie's books. You're not served one, without the other. As I like to say, they're "married" together in such a way that you're entertained with an incredible story, while at the same time, there are scriptural references that help strengthen your walk with the Lord.

It's PASSION with a PURPOSE as Julie says, and I agree with this 100% I highly recommend each book in this series!

Too good to put down!  December 30, 2010

Charity O'Connor is by far one of the most complex characters that I have ever encountered. The villian that I despised in A Passion Most Pure now becomes the herione I love in A Passion Redeemed. In all honesty, I wasn't sure how Julie Lessman was going to pull off such a monumental task! With the finesse of a true story teller, she heart-breakingly weaves the story of Charity O'Connor, showing that no one is beyond the point of redemption. Another story filled with passion, deceit, and a God who loves us more than we can imagine... a definite must read!

A Passion Redeemed: 5 out of 5 stars based on 4 user reviews.

Summary

Graced with physical beauty, though shallow of heart, Charity O'Connor is a woman who knows what she wants. She sets her sights on the cantankerous Mitch Dennehy, editor at the Irish Times, who has unwittingly stolen her heart. And although the sparks are there, Mitch refuses to fan the coals of a potential relationship with his ex-fiancée's sister. But Charity has a plan to turn up the heat and she always gets what she wants--one way or another. Is revenge so sweet after all? Or will Charity get burned?Full of intense passion, betrayal, and forgiveness, A Passion Redeemed will delight Lessman's fans and draw new ones.
