Author Biography

James Reilly is a senior lecturer in Northeast Asian politics at the University of Sydney and the author of Strong Society, Smart State: The Rise of Public Opinion in China’s Japan Policy. His articles have also been featured in journals, including Asian Survey, China: An International Journal, and Washington Quarterly. Jingdong Yuan is an associate professor of international security at the University of Sydney, the author of  The Dragon’s Will: The Exercise and Limitation of China’s Power from Pyongyang to Khartoum, and the coauthor of China and India: Cooperation or Conflict? His publications have also appeared in Asian Survey, Contemporary Security Policy, International Herald Tribune, and Washington Quarterly.
